Volunteer Spotlight: Aly Hale & UnitedHealthcare
As a mother, Aly Hale thought it would be overwhelming to attend the UnitedHealthcare and Project Sunshine pre-Halloween
party at Miller Children´s Hospital in Long Beach, Calif. that she had volunteered to coordinate. However, as soon as the event
started, she knew Project Sunshine was for her.
"As we decorated the rooms, the children came in. The smiles on their faces were priceless. It was in that moment I knew I wanted to do whatever I could to help these kids. I told my boss that I wanted to be more involved with Project Sunshine and would be happy to be our group contact for any events we have."
