Volunteer Spotlight: Talia Kushnick
After learning about Project Sunshine through past volunteer work, Talia Kushnick felt it would be a perfect fit for her congregation
at temple Shaare Zedek in Manhattan and organized an event. Talia was not only thrilled at how easy Project Sunshine made it to organize
an event, but at how much everyone enjoyed themselves. Both temple goers and the children who attended Congregation Shaare Zedek's event
enjoyed their day making crafts.
Shortly after this event, Talia was inspired to have her guests sew Surgi Dolls at her mother's 60th birthday party, combining
both a happy occasion with community service.
