Toronto author and artist Barbara Reid volunteers with Project Sunshine at SickKids
On June 17th The Project Sunshine arts and crafts program at The
Hospital for Sick Children welcomed Toronto based author and artist
Barbara Reid.
After reading two of her books, Barbara instructed an art
lesson teaching the patients how to use plasticine for illustration.
Barbara´s visit was filmed live in the Bear Theatre and fed to the
television monitors in each patient room as part of the inclusive
program for children in isolation.
Barbara´s visit was part of "Sunny Creations", a bi-weekly
arts and crafts program
run exclusively by Project Sunshine at
The Hospital for Sick Children.
